• Alaska: Alaska hired 129 pilots in 2001. They have hired 14 pilots year-to-date including 8 in July. They plan to hire 10 pilots in August and 8 in September from employee referrals.
• FedEx: FedEx hired 443 pilots in 2001. They have hired 168 pilots year-to-date including 24 in July. They plan to hire 24 pilots in August and up to 250 in 2002.
• Southwest: Southwest Airlines hired 471 pilots in 2001. They have hired 197 pilots year-to-date and plan to hire up to 250 pilots in 2002. Southwest Airlines hired 183 AMTs in 2001. They have hired 106 AMTs year-to-date are accepting résumés and interviewing for future hiring in '02.
• United: United hired 194 in 2001. They estimate recalls of furloughed pilots will begin mid-2003. They will be attending the DCA seminar for informational purposes, not to actually recruit at this time.

• AirNet: AirNet hired 85 in 2001. They have hired 38 pilots year-to-date in 2002. AirNet plans to hire up to 50 pilots in 2002.
• AirTran: AirTran hired 224 in 2001. They have hired 35 year-to-date in 2002. AirTran plans to hire up to 12 in August and up to 30 more in 2002.
• ACA: Atlantic Coast Airlines (ACA) hired 329 pilots in 2001. They have hired 242 pilots year-to-date including 49 in July. They plan to hire 54 pilots in August, 43 in September, and 480 in 2002. ACA hired 199 AMTs in 2001. They have hired 133 AMTs year-to-date including 30 in July. They plan to hire 20 AMTs in September and 50 in October.
• ASA: Atlantic Southeast Airlines (ASA) hired 206 pilots in 2001. They have hired 106 pilots year-to-date including 20 in August. They plan to hire 20 pilots in October and may hire in November. ASA hired approx. 22 AMTs in 2001. They plan to hire up to 90 AMTs in 2002.
• American Eagle: American Eagle hired 394 in 2001. They plan to recall approximately 50 pilots through NOV 2002. American Eagle is attending the DCA Seminar for informational purposes, not to actually recruit at this time.
• Comair: Comair hired 272 pilots in 2001. They have hired 182 year-to-date including 16 in AUG, 2002. Comair plans to hire in SEP/OCT, up to 300 in 2002 and plans to hire 300 more in 2003. Comair hired 14 AMTs in 2001. They have hired 16 year-to-date and plan on hiring 30 in 2002.
• JetBlue: JetBlue hired 134 pilots in 2001. They have hired 150 pilots year-to-date including 24 in July. JetBlue plans to hire 24 pilots/month in August/September and 266 more pilots in 2002.
• Pinnacle/NWAirlink: Pinnacle/NWAirlink hired 245 in 2001. They have hired 90 pilots year-to-date including 10 in July. Pinnacle/NWAirlink plans to hire 24 in August, 18 in September, and up to 200 more in 2002.
• USA Jet: USAJet hired 14 pilots in 2001. They have hired 10 pilots year-to-date including 4 in July.
• USA3000: USA3000 hired 20 pilots in 2001. They have hired 39 pilots year-to-date including 8 in August. They plan to hire 24 pilots in SEP and 8 in OCT.
