Kit Darby, President of AIR, Inc.
Interview Survival, Testing/Sim Check
Currently a B767 captain with United Airlines, Mr. Darby has interviewed 20 times with 16 different airlines and worked with 3 majors and 1 national airline since 1978. He has a BS degree in Aeronautical Studies from Embry-Riddle AU. Mr. Darby is co-author of the Simulator Flying Guide, Beginners' Guide to Becoming a Career Pilot, the World Wide Pilot Supply Report and the World Wide Jet Transport Simulator Study. His flight experience includes 15,000 hours total time, 10,000 hours jet time. ATP with B737, B727 and DC-8 type ratings, flight/instrument and engineer instructor, commercial instrument helicopter pilot, plus military instructor ratings in 2 helicopters and 5 fixed-wing multi-engine aircraft. 
Becky Dean Becky Dean, Vice President

Ms. Dean has been helping pilots reach their career goals for more than ten years. She is co-author of Airline Pilot Application Handbook and Job Search Guidelines. A former flight attendant and daughter of an airline captain, Ms. Dean has been involved in aviation all her life. She has more than ten years of experience in personnel management and administration with a degree in Business Administration.
Bud Williams, CRM Program Director
Crew Resource Management
Bud Williams, currently a line pilot on the B-757, instructs CRM for pilots and flight attendants at America West Airlines. He flew with various Air National Guard units and is a retired Air Force Reservist.

He has worked as a check airman, a program developer/instructor in various airline training departments, and a training consultant.

Jim Carman Jim Carman, Aviation Consultant
Military to Airline Transition
Jim earned his baccalaureate degree in mathematics and computer science from the University of South Carolina in 1974 and served in the Navy for more than twenty four years. During his naval career, Jim accumulated over 6,000 flight hours in a wide variety of carrier based and land based aircraft including the A-7E Corsair 11, the P-3C Orion, and the EP-3E Aires 11 aircraft. In the Navy, Jim served an instructor pilot, flight standardization evaluator, and fleet replacement squadron instructor pilot. His command experience in naval aviation includes command of a maritime patrol and reconnaissance squadron forward deployed with the Sixth Fleet in the Mediterranean Sea during 1989 and 1990 and command of a maritime patrol and reconnaissance wing deployed throughout the Pacific Rim, Indian Ocean, and Persian Gulf in 1995 and 1996.

In 1998 Jim joined American Airlines as a first officer based in Washington, D.C. He is a designated Airline Transport Pilot qualified in the Boeing 737 and MD-80 series aircraft. Jim has earned graduate degrees in national security studies and financial management, graduated from the aviation safety command course at the Naval Post Graduate School, and completed the Senior Executive Training Program at Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Sloan School of Management.
