CORPORATE AIRCRAFT PARTNERS SELECTS
AIR, INC. TO SCREEN PILOT APPLICANTS
AND PROVIDE E-APPLICATION SERVICES
ATLANTA, GA On September 8, 2000, Atlanta-based AIR, Inc. signed a one-year renewable agreement with Corporate Aircraft Partners, a start-up company based in Cartersville, GA, to conduct pilot applicant screenings for their Jet Stream Captains and First Officer new-hires. The agreement is a result of Corporate Aircraft Partners need to hire pilots to staff their J-31 aircraft.
Each Corporate Aircraft Partners pilot applicant, handled through this agreement, will undergo a series of tests prior to the actual interview. The cognitive skills test will be administered in AIR, Inc.s new FAA approved Test center, and the simulator evaluation, flying a Corporate Aircraft Partners-designated profile, will be conducted in one of AIR, Inc.s two Elite Simulators, said Kit Darby, President of AIR, Inc. To ensure a smooth transition from Corporate Aircraft Partners current screening and hiring process to the new process, AIR, Inc. has established an on-line application at AIRApps.com for interested applicants to complete, we will furnish them with office space and services to conduct interviews, plus provide a direct link from our Web site at www.jet-jobs.com to their site at www.corporateaircraftpartners.net
AIR, Inc. is no stranger to providing screening services to the airlines. In 1995, AIR, Inc. assisted World Airways with pilot recruitment and candidate selection for their MD-11 new-hire program, providing résumé/application screening, telephone interviewing services, and making recommendations to World Airways Human Resources and Flight Operations departments, resulting in the selection of 50 MD-11 First Officers in about 60 days. Since that time, AIR, Inc. has entered into pilot screening agreements with Atlas Air, AirNet Express, Atlantic Southeast Airlines, Aloha Island Air, and CommutAir.
