4-Color and Covers
Supply color corrected screened film negatives, to size, right reading, emulsion side down, 133 line screen, 1 complete color proof, proofed with standard AAAA/MPA offset process colors, 4-color wet, Yellow-Blue-Red-Black on publication stock. Proofs must be supplied in accordance with SWOP density standards. The density of ink coverage should be no greater than 280% for all 4-color ads. Publisher and printer will not accept quality responsibility when color proof is less than a Chromalin or Fuji or when color proofs are not submitted. Color proofs should be made to SWOP standards.

  Please double-check your ad sizes with the information above. Wrong film size is of the main reasons for incorrect or low-quality ads in the final printed material.

Ads on disk?
Please include all necessary graphics and fonts. Call for specific information about your situation. AIR, Inc. will not be responsible for the quality of customer ads submitted on disk nor will AIR, Inc. hold up a magazine due to incomplete files, font conflicts, graphic problems, etc. We accept ads on cd, zip (Mac formatted), diskette, or via e-mail, depending on the size.

Film Storage
All film will be held for one year from date of publication and then destroyed unless otherwise requested in writing.

Web Ads
468 X 60 pixels and 400 X 50 are our standard size (three frames maximum, 15k maximum file size). Other sizes are available including 234 X 60 (three frames maximum, 12k maximum file size), 120 X 90 (three frames maximum, 10k maximum file size), and 125 X 125 (three frames maximum, 10k maximum file size). Rates & Commissions
Space costs are agency commissionable at 15% of gross, net 10 days from invoice date. Accounts are subject to a late payment finance charge computed at 11/2% per month (18% annually) on any balance 60 days or more after billing date.

• Three Color Rates: For advertisements using three process colors, add 10% to the 2-color rate, per issue

• 1-page furnished insert: B&W earned rate
• 2-page furnished insert: B&W earned rate less 10% per page
• 4-page furnished insert: B&W earned rate less 20% per page
• 8- or 12-page insert: B&W earned rate less 30% per page
• Reply cards of less than 40 square inches per side, furnished per publishers specifications: B&W earned 1/2 page rate. Must be accompanied by minimum 1 page RPB advertisement.
